About IJMB

IJMB means Interim Joint Matriculation Board is a programme moderated by Ahmadu Bello University is about one-year full academic program that successful students can use to gain admission to 200 level of almost Nigeria universities via Direct Entry without writing JAMB.

With IJMB you can use the result to gain admission to 90% of universities into 200 level and study any course vi Direct Entry. The IJMB program has been in existence since 1974 and has been used for direct entry admission by millions of Nigerians since then into Nigerian universities.

These are some of the list of universities accepting IJMB but not limited to the University of Port Harcourt (Uniport) Rivers State University (RSU), Ignatius Ajuru University, ABU Zaria, Unilorin, Uniben, Futminna, Uniabuja, Kwasu, UNN, Laotech, FUTA, ALL private universities, ALL Northern Universities, 95% of state universities.

IJMB Registration 2025/2026 Fees

A total sum of #238,000 to #328k depending on the IJMB centre is the fee that covers the programme. This cumulative fee covers the registration fee, acceptance fee, school fee, lecture fee, textbooks and materials, and hostel fee. This fee is non-refundable. IJMB Form 2025/2026 Important Dates To Take Notice and Deadline

Check the IJMB closing date for the 2025/2026 academic session

  1. The registration has started.
  2. As soon as you register, you will be able to select the centre you want.
  3. Lectures for IJMB for the session will start fully by March/July 2025
  4. Further information will be sent to students from time to time via their email addresses ( please do use your personal email to send your registration form to us)
  5. The PDF file for the courses registered for will be available on the IJMB Portal for downloads after payment of the acceptance fee.
  6. The final examination will commence by early June 2025
  7. By late September of the year 2025, the result should have been released by ABU, Zaria And with your result, you can now use it to apply to any of the universities accepting IJMB into 200 level the same 2025 with your Direct Entry form (DE)
  8. Payment of the initial school fees of at least 50% of the total IJMB centre fee should be paid on or before resumption

Steps By Step IJMB Registration

Before you make payment. See that you are interested in available IJMB centres today to avoid wasting your money. ( https://ijmb.com.ng/registration-fees )

1. Pay for your registration fee( http://tiny.cc/ijmbform )

2. Fill the form ( https://ijmb.com.ng/ijmb-registration )

3. Confirm your email by clicking on the verification link sent to you

4. Then during confirmation, you will be redirected to the page where you will select your centre and method of payment

5. Do that (select your preferred study centre and method of payment)

6. Then we will confirm your payment by activating your portal( for quick resolving, upload your payment evidence, screenshot, teller, are all accepted)

7. After that you will be redirected to fill the parent/guardian form

8. Then you will receive your admission letter

9. Then within 2 weeks, pay your acceptance

10. Then resume to your centre from June 18th, 2025.

11. When resuming bring along at least 50% of your centre fee – to be able to resume lectures, given textbooks and accommodation (optional)

12. You can start resuming from the 18th of June, 2025

What is IJMB?
