The Nigerian National Committee for the United World Colleges (UWC) has announced applications are being accepted from suitably qualified Nigerian candidates for a limited number of slots available for its scholarship scheme
Though applicants are reminded that they would be placed with the sole responsibility of taking Care and charge of their flight tickets, pocket money, health insurance, clothing, and every other things related including cost of tuition and housing.
NIGERIAN NATIONAL COMMITTEE UWC SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY
In order to be deemed fit for this scholarship scheme, Candidates must have shown their academic prowess in their respective O level results either Senior School Certificate SSC / GCE
For secondary school students who doesn’t have their O level results at their disposal, are at liberty also to tender their application on the basis of their 2 years continuous assessment and must be within the range og ages of 16 and 17 years alongside submission of their well written and articulated essay alongside their proprietor and Principal’s recommendation.
HOW TO APPLY FOR NIGERIAN NATIONAL COMMITTEE UWC SCHOLARSHIP
Candidates are to make a one time payment for their application fee of the sum of ten thousand naira only N10,000 which has been deemed non refundable by the organizing committee, while candidates from any public school who are nominated by the school may pay a reduced fee of N1,000.00 (One Thousand Naira only).
In the disclosure of the managing committee, they noted that Payment is by a Bank Draft drawn on any Nigerian.Bank in favour of the Nigerian National Committee for the United World Cola
Alternatively,payment can also be facilitated through the E commerce platform widely known as Flutterwave Payment on their website: www.ng.uwc.org
