JAMB 2023 Results: Result of JAMB 2023 Release

Following the Jamb result 2023, The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has finally released the long-awaited results of the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Dr Fabian Benjamin, the Head of Public Affairs and Protocol at JAMB, made the announcement on Tuesday, 27th April 2023 in Abuja.

For candidates who took part in the 2023 UTME, checking their results has been made easy by JAMB. They can now send a text message with the word “UTMERESULT” to 55019 using the phone number they used for registration, and their result will be sent to them via text message.

It’s important to note that this is currently the only official method of checking the 2023 UTME results, as JAMB hasn’t yet uploaded the results on its website. Candidates should also be wary of fraudsters who may try to mislead them by providing false instructions on how to check their results. JAMB has urged all candidates to ignore such messages and follow the official method of checking their results.

In addition to providing a user-friendly and simplified process for checking UTME results, JAMB’s decision to release results via text message aims to prevent unscrupulous cybercafes and business centres from exploiting hapless candidates.

For candidates who participated in the 2023 UTME, checking your result has been made easy by JAMB. According to Dr Fabian Benjamin, candidates can simply send UTMERESULT to 55019 using the same phone number they used for registration, and their result will be sent to them via text message.

Candidates are advised to exercise patience while awaiting their results as the process may take a while due to the high number of candidates who participated in the examination. We wish all candidates success in their academic pursuits.
