Score below 200 in 2019 JAMB UTME? Here is what to do next

JAMB UTME

From the beginning, it is obvious that half of the 1.8 million who sat for The JAMB Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) would gain admission. This is not an organized sectionalism but the product of our educational system.

We are here to tell you that if you score less than 200 in this just-concluded JAMB UTME, you should try other alternative instead of hoping for admission list to come out before it is too late.

One of the best alternatives out there is the Interim Joint Matriculation Board, IJMB is about 9 to 10-month programme (sometimes even far less) if you resume. It is A level programme supervised by Ahamdu Bello University, ABU, Zaria that let you gain admission into 200 level of the University of your choice.

This is how it works. You register, resume lectures at the end of February or April, you sat for the examination, once the result is released you combine the result with Direct Entry form that would need to be purchased from JAMB online as the case will be.

You have the opportunity to select your first and second choice university with the Direct Entry.

You gain admission into 200 level, to about 80% of Nigerian universities, all northern universities, all private universities, all states universities except (LASU) accept the IJMB result.

You can study whatsoever course of your choice with the IJMB programme including Medicine, law, Mass Communication, Business Admission, Pharmacy etc.

The form is about to close for the 2019/2021 IJMB programme.

What to do now is to apply immediately and resume immediately without wasting time. Do take note that if you fail to resume after a month from today, you might be able to partake in next examination, though when you resume another alternative would still be available.

Right now, what to do is to apply before the registration which is closing next week Friday comes.
