First of all, what you are meant to know is what IJMB is all about. IJMB is an acronym for Interim Joint Matriculation Board which is an Advanced level programme that runs for a period of 9 months and it is been run by the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. IJMB was set up as an alternative way to gain admission into the university via direct entry and enables you start from 200 level of any Nigerian university of your choice. IJMB is also approved and certified by the Nigerian University Commission (NUC) if you had any doubt.

Also, the IJMB Calendar year is what you should know about. Like I said earlier, the programme runs for a period of 9 months and the IJMB programme, that is the lectures for 2019/2021 will commence on the 10th of February 2019 and will run into the next year (2021) when the examinations would be conducted. Note that if you are registering for IJMB 2019/2021, after the examinations and you are successful, you would use the result to gain admission into your preferred choice of institution in the year 2021.

What you should also know as you register for IJMB is that IJMB demands your seriousness and full knowledge. In this case, I mean your academic ability must be high enough considering it is an A’level programme which is totally different from your O’level like WAEC, NECO, GCE and so on. You must be able to read your books after every lecture so as to prepare well for the examinations.

In addition, IJMB will also demand your financial donation. You must be able to pay your fees which is very mandatory if you are going to be attending lectures and if you must write your examinations. The fee for IJMB programme is between N168,000 to N270,000 depending on the preferred course you wish to study. So if you want to register for IJMB, endeavor you have your money available and also be prepared to marry your books once lectures commences. It may also interest you to note that the fees for the IJMB programme can be paid in 2 installments. That is you can pay your IJMB fees 2 times as you so wish, this is done to ease the pressure of the amount of money you are to bring.

Also, you are expected to know that the IJMB 2019/2021 registration has commenced and you are required to read and go through the requirements before you register for IJMB 2019/2021 session.
