The prestigious award will be given to an exceptional international student who can demonstrate financial hardship to support them in their studies at King’s College London.

About the King’s College London

King’s College London (informally King’s or KCL) is a public research university located in London, England. King’s was established by royal charter in 1829 under the patronage of King George IV and the Duke of Wellington.

In 1836, King’s became one of the two founding colleges of the University of London. It is one of the oldest university-level institutions in England.

 In the late 20th century, King’s grew through a series of mergers, including with Queen Elizabeth College and Chelsea College of Science and Technology (in 1985), the Institute of Psychiatry (in 1997), the United Medical and Dental Schools of Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals and the Florence Nightingale School of Nursing and Midwifery (in 1998).

Eligibility Criteria for King’s College Scholarship

  • Candidates must intend to undertake full-time taught master’s courses in the Engineering program at King’s from September 2022.
  • You must be classed as international for tuition fees.
  • You must be able to demonstrate financial need.
  • You must be willing to provide an end-of-year report or any other necessary interactions by the donor.
  • You must provide a written personal statement in support of your application.
  • You must be able to provide recent evidence that your spoken and written command of the English language is adequate for the programs for which you have applied.
