If any students resume starting from September, we do refer to them as late comers,
these set of students like you are the students who were waiting for JAMB results, post UTME and even the admission list. They want to see if their names are among the admitted students for the university they have chosen, before applying for IJMB. It is after they have given up hope or their result isn’t good enough, they will starts given IJMB a thought.
While we do not blame students for these, of course we do know given out #168,000 just like that is not easy for our parents (fingers,we all know is not all equal). But most times, we do advise parents that once a child finished his/her secondary school, allow him/her go for Alevel programme first, before proceeding to his her choice of university. Alevel programme helps in preparing the child in advance to whatever he/she is going to face at the university and this helps student alots in times of boosting GP especially in their first year at the university or 200 level if they used IJMB to gain admission for their course of study. Now that we know that there is always late comers, we do run separate lectures for these set of students, these separate lectures are called makeup classes, for the late comers to meet up with those ones who have been here between March/April every year. The makeup classes have nothing to do with the normal lectures, as the normal time/hour will still continue to hold. The makeup classes do run through the mid of October till the exam period; the IJMB exam do take place every February of every year.
Currently, we do not have any other centers elsewhere that are still admitting students for this current session, than the one here at Ilorin; the major ijmb centre in Nigeria after the Abu centre at Futua, in katsina state. And this is the only place, your makeup classes can be guaranteed by us.
Again note, the registration for 2016/2017 session of the IJMB will start by November 2015 and lectures will fully commence between March and April 2016 and you will use the IJMB result for 2016/2017 gain admission into 200 level by 2017. Hope we are not confusing you? Please read again if we just did.
PLEASE NOTE. IJMB is real, but because you refused to study it in the right center whether because of money or distance. That is why is not real to you, those who have used it to gain admission know it is real.
