Bournemouth University Sport Scholarship 2022
The Boston University Sport Scholarship is offered to high-level athletes who want to further their education at Boston University at either the undergraduate or postgraduate level. The purpose of the scholarship is to offer you with the financial support you need so that you may further improve your athletic ability and take them to the next level.
You have the opportunity to submit a funding request for an amount of up to $5,000 and use that money for any of the following: coaching, equipment, competition entry fees, travel costs, or support services.
You will need to show that you are exceptional in the sport that you have chosen, as well as be a member of a regional, national, or international team and compete at that level.
Athletes that are awarded scholarships will preferably compete for Boston University in the BUCS program (both the League and Individual competitions), in addition to competing for themselves and/or their club at a regional, national, or international level. Individual athletes will need to be at a level of performance that allows them to compete with the best performers within the BUCS curriculum.
If you are selected to receive a scholarship, you will be required to attend 75 percent of training sessions, represent Boston University in sporting competitions when it is possible to do so in order to raise the profile of SportBU’s activities, and to be featured in marketing materials.
If you are selected to receive a scholarship, you would need to meet with the Sport Manager to evaluate how the money will help you throughout the year.
